Hello, I'm
Gabi

I remember being five years old and watching “13 Going on 30” for the first time. In the movie, the main character, Jenna Rink, is one of the editors for Poise magazine – a publication that happens to be falling apart. She takes on the challenge of rebranding Poise and making it relevant to its target audience again. At the time, Jenna’s job was significantly more demanding than my young brain could comprehend; however, to me, what she did looked fun. She’d sit on the floor of her private office makeshifting collages. She’d attend meetings to pitch her ideas while eating candy; and she got to drink a ton of coffee, something I was definitely not allowed to do at that age. After watching this movie, I knew I wanted a job that revolved around creativity. Lucky for me, I found creative and conceptual design – my own version of collaging – and this is what I do.

I am Gabi.  I graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Marketing. I am passionate about creating conceptual and aesthetically-pleasing designs. Over the years, I’ve gained creative experience in a variety of media, including social media management; logos and branding packages; promotional material (e.g., flyers, brochures, merchandise, stationery kits, etc.); print and digital advertising; book covers and wedding designs; and so much more.

I am a passionate person who dedicates time to perfect the things I am fond of. This keeps me eager to learn things I don’t know and motivated to sharpen skills I already carry. I am also a voracious reader who enjoys romance and fantasy novels in my free time. When not working, I love binge-watching random Netflix Originals with my husband, Lee, and our three kittens, Smokey, Ash, and Luna.
